I’m curious to hear from some recently retired pilots and their opinion if they would have stuck around a couple more years if they could. I’m 50 now and still enjoy the job and would stay till 67 if my medical allows me. When you retired were you financially prepared? I look at the numbers and let’s say your making $250 K before you retire, then next month you start chipping away at your 401 K - it could be a big lifestyle hit. Anyone care to respond ?
