I hate this "requirement" or question from recruiters. I'm a damn pilot, not a social worker or politician. Their only concern should be if you're a safe, competent pilot and a likeable person that others would enjoy working with.
How about this answer to the recruiter. "I have 11 days off a month at home. I take care of my family and my home in those precious few days. I don't have the damn time to be Mother Teresa, okay."
That's a good way to get booted from the interview.
The fact that the employer asks makes it important to you.
If what the employer asks for isn't important to you, then you're probably the wrong person for the job.
