I didn’t realize I had a reserve day between my days off and vacation and bought tickets for us to fly home on Monday, the 1st. The reserve coverage is even and I could probably drop the day but I hate to lose 3-4 hours of pay if they can’t use me anyways.
Am I released at noon on a reserve day before a vacation week? Thanks, E
You're released at noon if you haven't been given an assignment by then. But you could get a 1000 report time or SC start on the 31st thrown on your schedule the afternoon of the 30th. Or, at 0100 on the 31st, you could get a 1300 report/2330 release for the same day. Absolute worst-case, you could even be extended into your vacation. The only way to guarantee you don't work that day (assuming you're well) is to PD or APD that day.
