The right seat A320 FLL is fairly junior (a few slots will go to new hires for a class or two this last cycle). There will be a mix of E190/A320 in each class, and with seniority being determined by age, you'll likely be able to get A320 if you want it.

Another thing to consider...
You could go to the E190, be on reserve shorter amount of time, and with a seat lock of only one year, you could bid the A320 and go to FLL after a year. I think the max time you would spend in JFK or BOS in either case is 1.5 years. That's not bad.
