I had our PAI (principal Avionics Inspector) on the jumpseat the other day. he was asking me allot of questions about maintenance on the 767. He then had some interesting data about hours flown on the airframes we have. I know the Feds are watching the 767 operation because in his words those airframes are pretty tired. I knew that .
already.

If we don't have a replacement for the 767 I guess were gonna have to outsource that flying to a code share partner, or get bigger RJ's. I guess the "region" in regional jet is just gonna get bigger. Were gonna need a 4600 NM capable jet or one with inflight refueling....

look for management to come up with some clever code sharing to outsource flying to our so-called "partners". Not OUR FAULT management isn't taking advantage of good pricing on the 787. No clue how the A 350 is being perceived by management, but it would be nice to hear from them as to what that status is????

I am sure Scott Kirby is on here....What say you Mr. Kirby?
