Really. The position with SWA is for a "Flt Crew Training Instructor" -- a sim instructor. And, like every other airline sim instructor position, you go through initial pilot training, whether rated or not, do the initial LOE, and then go back through instructor training.
It's apparent you don't understand how this works and I get it since UAL doesn't hire non line sim instructors.
I have already admitted that I didn't know that and believed the FTI job at United was a sim instructor job.
They called and offered an interview, I'm not in class yet, so I accepted, like plenty of others here have done and would do. You never know.
I came here for information, which I received. I also know these forums come loaded with the kind of BS you provided. Thanks to those who gave legitimate info. It was very helpful and appreciated.
