I left NJA after 14 years. There is in intial pay hit and it will take a little while to play catch up but for me, the increase in my overall QOL is immeasurable.

After working at SWA for a little over a year I think I have literly increased my life span. I get more rest, I am less stressed, and I will be able to retire on time. My remaining years left working get better and better each month as my seniority grows. At "work" everyone is nice (including the pax). Cockpit culture is very chill and I cant say enough about having much shorter duty days and much longer overnights than I ever ever had at NJA.

My experience at Netjets was the complete opposite. I tried to do a good job with the brief changes, Canada ASAP recoveries, notams, cleaning, customer service and by the time I got home, I was exhausted. That was all while averaging one fatigue call per tour on the 7n7.

Living in or near a SWA base is even more gravy. My only regret was not getting to SWA sooner.
