I'll ad in a personal observation here. VX had "step pay" not longevity pay. It is a little known fact that those of us in the first pilot class started as "step 4" pilots, $110/hr as we were type rated prior to coming to VX. The irony is we reached 12 years service the day before the JCBA went into effect, staying at 12 year pay.
And while the "go back to year one pay for upgrade" was originally in the business plan, there was enough push back from the line pilots that it and a rather unique scheduling scheme (the buckets) never were implemented.

Facts are... you went to the lowest paying job in the industry, a company that pushed the industry norms and our careers lower. My only point is you guys need to get off your high horse and quit dogging L-AS. None of you have done **** for our industry!
