I’ve had quite a few FOs coming from purely corporate careers, honestly they’re some of the best people I’ve flown with. They have no issues through training, good attitudes (not lazy or offended by suggestions), they manage the aircraft well for newbies, and they’re good people to hang out with on an overnight.
Our pilot recruitment hasn’t been overlooking good corporate pilots and I hope that remains the case.
