AAG isn’t stupid. They’re not going to ask a question they don’t already have the answer to. They relied on historic behavior.
It's always easy to criticize someone else's behavior when the gun isn't pointed at your own head. We can re-litigate the whole story if you want, but what it boils down to is that certain Envoy keyboard warriors expected another, much smaller pilot group to risk having to fall on their swords so that Envoy
might gain something.
Quite frankly I'd say the decisions of the PSA Pilot group in late 2013 have been vindicated, as ultimately all the YES voters are now sitting in mainline flight decks, in many cases for several years, and our first 2014 hires are now in Indoc. Everyone who came for the growth had quick advancement Round One lines with SAP, and now we're getting paid.
We've had a few bumps along the way to be sure, but here we are. If ENY and PDT are able to pull a few more bucks out of AAG, then more power to you.
