All true. However marketing is the only reason it hasn't been a pilot domicile for the last several years. Until and unless they are slightly reined in and flt ops given more than a token say, the temptation to make every hourly flight a different fleet type (including same sized fleets) will make picking any one fleet to base there nothing more than a dart board fantasy.

The Shuttle is a potential exception to that, but it first has to be firmly established if its going to be 717 or C100 ("Airbus" LOL!) and even then we'd probaly create a NYC layover for every BOS layover we prevented.

And LOL at the C Series doing TA. The only thing it could really do is high intensity fare competitive routes like DUB etc. That's hardly worth the higher CASM of a smaller plane like that. NE-Ireland is the complete opposite of long and thin. That would be a rediculous use of that plane. Even the -500 would be a stretch, literally and figuratively.
