You're right Karma is strange, strange enough to bite those with a bus type who interview at a non bus airline.
I know tons of people who have 737 type ratings and have gotten a job at Frontier. A buddy of mine answered with "because I originally planned to go to southwest. It didn't work out, but I am glad because Frontier is a better fit for me." That question is just a $hit test, and your buddies must have
screwed up when they answered it. they just interviewed poorly.
