Nope. The word scab has a very defined meaning and it can’t be altered to evolve into whatever someone today wants it to be. It’s kind of like 2+2 will always equal 4 and nothing else despite strong opinions or emotions. Ignoring the definition dumbs down the meaning. A scab is a very specific thing, and those guys deserve a demeaning definition that is all theirs. You can come up with a new word for people who undermine a union workforce, but without actually crossing a picket line, they aren’t scabs.
