I'm thinking that an FA flying while sick is a potential safety issue. The ASAP program exists to identify safety issues.

Of course, only the FA can determine if they are fit to fly or not. But if the decision to not call in sick is influenced by fear of punishment, that sounds like a pervasive safety issue.

I didn't know FAs have their own ASAP program now. This should definitely be reported through that program if it happens.
