This is why I say airline pilots are idiots. They think the company revolves around them. Of course management does what's best for profitability. That's their job, and their duty to shareholders.
There’s two types of profitability models.... both are for shareholders. Herb Kelleher..... and Frank Lorenzo.
BOTH made lots of money for their shareholders and got very rich themselves in the process. You can both take care of employees AND make shareholders a tidy sum. It’s not a binary choice.
