Everyone in public hates pilots? Hmmm....first time I've heard that one. Sounds like you have an amazing personality. It's great that you don't fly for United, because a 4 day with you would be miserable, based on your attitude.
What about your company responsibility? If I'm a paying customer who is already on the plane (already boarded), then don't throw the denied boarding clauses at me. Those were for when we're still up at the gate. It's not my problem one of your flights tomorrow needs a crew. That's your problem, not mine. I paid for my travel today. If you're gonna deny that, then I want more than $800.
