I got an email asking me to confirm my presence at an interview with Alaska two days later. Assuming I had missed a prior email, I inquired about later interview dates, but said I could make it if it couldn’t be moved. That used to be Hawaiian's HR strategy in the early 2000's at least. Several in our squadron were called on a Monday at 4pm asking if they were interested in a Wed morning interview. If you said yes, well you were in the flow..... if you said no, they said, OK we'll contact you again when we're going to do interviews...... sometimes that call never came twice.
