The economy is on our side right now but the contract is on the company's side. They will only reopen the contract if they think they can mitigate costs and extend the contract into the next recession.
Agreed. Pat mentioned several times that they are keenly aware of our situation and have no issue with walking away based on the contingencies tied to whatever raise they offer. They (management) know we've walked before, and I'd like to think that would affect the structure of their initial offer, but I've succumbed to the notion that they still just don't give a ****.
