Wasting time means they're going to push the next contract out further. We should demand a contract within six months of the amendable date.

Other carriers will have negotiated two contracts by the time we manage to get the next one. Screwing around for years because of this, that, blah blah blah, is insanity and only costing the crew force money. Gee, if we string it out long enough, maybe we'll be in a recession. Better take this offer because it will take three years to negotiate another one. Delay, delay, delay.
