1) You might hear otherwise, but growth has not stopped... nearly all the operating statistics (passengers, departures, routes, operating revenue, RPMs, ASMs, etc.) have been continuously growing. This information is easy to find, yet few bother to find it. 600 additional routes have been identified for possible growth and we just announced that scheduled service south of the border is near. Expecting 10 ac per year for the next 3 years. Supposedly hiring this summer... might be why people are getting these emails? Like I said before, the only thing that has stopped growing is the seniority list, and it’s temporary.

6) Morale is low among people who didn’t manage their expectations; it’s not necessarily related to seniority. If you come here expecting IWA from day one, you’re going to have low morale. If you come here expecting the possibility of being awarded a base you don’t want with an un-commutable schedule (when junior), your morale will be much better. In my opinion, I think it’s worth living in an unwanted base for a few years to eventually get a base you do want and reap the benefits of our QOL and schedules. The vast majority of pilots I fly with are happy and content.
