I picked SWA over AA, AS, DL, UA, and FDX. Almost 5 years later, I’m still happy with my decision and I think it was the right one for me. I think JB has a fantastic inflight product and they have a cool niche. I don’t think their new contract is amazing, mostly because of what they got in exchange for submitting to the PBS beast. But it’s a very good contract.

I think the other companies I turned down are awesome, some more than others, but from what I’ve learned in my first few years.... I’m very happy with my SWA decision. And I tell my buddies the same thing and why.

This thread turned ugly a while ago, hopefully you got some good information from it and made the best choice for you. Along with the rest of the readers following along.

There are a couple of serial commenters on here that are just better to ignore rather than take what they say as anything truthful or close to reality. A couple of actual SWA pilots who are real Debbie Downers, for their own reasons, and a few more who like to just waste people’s time online.
Jetblue has always been PBS, line bidding was never an option. I also prefer PBS, having experience with both.
