The scenario is, a 4 day worth ~23 hrs, all block. Weather delays so get ~1 hr of overblock, then rerouted into a higher block turn in the middle of day 2, so now the trip is at +1.5 hrs. But then we time-out at the end of day 2 and are given domicile layover which removes about 4 hrs of flying, taking the trip back down to the original 23 hrs pay.
My question is, do we have any protection for the extra block we flew if later in the trip we go underblock? Or is it just rotation guarantee?
Had somewhat similar situation last summer. And I might be wrong/missing something with the differences in situations, but I’m going for the true daily double with NO. Mother D got that pay back from you.
Sorry, amigo.
