It has nothing to do with corporate greed. Simple explanation:

Delta pilots get 10% or 20% of profits based on the amount of profit. Just for the pilots! DAL's quarterly profit amount is also significantly higher than ours. ($730M vs $98.5M in Q1)

WE share a much smaller percentage of profits (historically 5%) with the entire company... Together, that results in a comparatively much smaller check.

Next contract, pilot-only profit sharing carve out! For a much higher percentage than 5% and make it fixed, not based on performance goals that could equal a 0% share.

Also, there is nothing that guarantees ANY profit sharing. They could cancel the program tomorrow and we would get 0, as long as they cancel it for the entire company.
