The path to improvement of Allegiant is in voting for higher dues to fight the company. That was done by a majority here. Improvement lies in volunteering to do union duties. It's a thankless job but I'm very glad many do it.
The last contract had many holes in it. I agree. Have you asked anyone who was on the negotiating committee what was said repeatedly when we wanted industry standard? "You don't have a contract." Well we do now and the next round looks promising. We have excess money and a CBA. Things like the issues you mention will get worked out.
