I said it demonstrates that you like to learn, which they otherwise might not see. They know you either like to learn, or are very goal oriented. Neither is bad in this context.

I didn't say if you don't have a masters that you don't like to learn. Same with a fill-in-box degree, they know what that's for, and learning isn't it.

If you're getting arrogance out of that, you're overly sensitive about something.
