I hope so. And this isn't meant to be a snotty no voter comment... But I do worry, if they can truly run this place with way less than they thought, they really did get us cheap.
I agree, we should question if this contract really adds that much in the way of crew efficiencies? I think the 5 hour average per day is forcing them to focus more on pairing productivity. But, I also think that people are more motivated to pick up open time now.
Also, there's the question of what's best for the pilot group? Is it better to hire more pilots and fly less, or have fewer total pilots, but have more efficient schedules and get paid more?
