I was not trying to be a "know it all", I just wanted to make sure I understood this correctly. I took off yesterday with 5000RVR, so no big deal - but it triggered my own confusion with standard takeoff minimums, and lower than standard minimums. My confusion was with the 'Adequate Vis Ref' box, I was uncertain whether or not this was true 'minimums.' I understand this much better now!
