So they told you they're getting airbuses? Slots open up from where? Everything I've read has indicated that delivery slots are taken through sometime in 2023. Maybe they're going to convert the 380 production line to 320s or work some other magic?
There are so many intangibles that we don’t even realize that go on with an aircraft order; much more complex than “place an order, get in line for production”
Case and point; Spirit would have not been taking their sweet time on an order if Airbus was “first come, first serve”. When they are ready for my Airbus’ (Airbi?) they will have them.
