Quote: And..... Also the best coverage. The last I saw, and please correct me if I am wrong, it is a contractual right to have this in our PWA. The "Cap" on the top end is "Unlimited" .

My wife had 2 major hospital visits for a nearly $50K bill. I paid around $3,000.

HSA's are great if you and your family are healthy. Not so if there is a chronic health issue.

You may "gamble" on your health insurance needs...I don't. To me, health insurance is what it is, ..."Insurance".

I will have to look again, but if it is a contractual requirement for the company to provide, why would I POSSIBLY want to extract it from the language esp with all the polictical issues with ACA on the agenda?
how much would you have paid with the OOP max on the HSA vs DPMP? What’s the difference after premium differences, tax advantages growth, and company HSA contributions?

Serious questions, not trying to antagonize. There are a few health issues we are dealing with and I may need to change our plans this year
