LOGGING FLIGHT TIME. In accordance with § 61.51(f)(3), on or after November 26, 2018, pilots operating under an SIC PDP may log flight time during certain parts 91 and 135 operations, provided the flight operation is conducted in accordance with § 135.99(c), which includes complying with the air carrier/operator’s OpSpec A062. OpSpec A062 includes additional requirements for part 91 flights.

Assigned SIC. In accordance with §§ 61.51(e)(1)(i) and 61.159(c)(4), an assigned SIC of an operation conducted in accordance with § 135.99(c) may not log PIC flight time, even when the assigned SIC is the sole manipulator of the controls.



9.2

SIC Flight Time. In accordance with § 61.51(f)(3), on or after November 26, 2018, an assigned SIC may log SIC flight time while serving as an SIC of an operation conducted in accordance with § 135.99(c), provided the requirements of § 61.159(c)are met.


135.99(c)
Except as provided in paragraph (d) of this section, a certificate holder authorized to conduct operations under instrument flight rules may receive authorization from the Administrator through its operations specifications to establish a second-in-command professional development program. As part of that program, a pilot employed by the certificate holder may log time as second in command in operations conducted under this part and part 91 of this chapter that do not require a second pilot by type certification of the aircraft or the regulation under which the flight is being conducted, provided the flight operation is conducted in accordance with the certificate holder's operations specifications for second-in-command professional development program


Planesense currently does not have OpSpec A062, therefore no SIC PDP. So it looks to me that currently, 91 legs are not able to be logged in the PC-12. 135.99(c) lays out the approval for the SIC PDP and OpSpec A062 and logging time under 91 operations.


It looks like we are currently in a limbo situation, the FAA shutdown logging PIC sole manipulator on 91 legs, and Planesense doesn't have A062 which would allow SIC to log time on 91 legs.
