If you're looking at the long term, SKW is a safer bet for the west.
If you're just getting in and out quickly, CZ might be safe enough. There were some rumblings about losing western flying, not sure what came of that.
No argument from me with what you’re saying re: Skywest. Regarding Compass, I believe a big determination on the conpany’s future is the renewal/non-renewal of their current Delta contract later this year (6 mos from now or so?). I’m not at Compass and not an expert by any means on this issue but that’s what I picked up from reading threads recently around here.
