I'm sure you can. Decorated military officer is superfluous now; his career was destroyed when they dissected him in court martial, despite his acquittal. He will never come back from that, regardless of his state of guilt or innocence.

It's not necessarily a matter of framing anyone; prosecutions press forward all the time for political reasons, for for any number of other reasons, and the attorney general speaks not off his own investigation, but the word of others, who may or may not believe they have a solid case. Trials are often throws of the dice.

Regardless, innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
