Well if it didn't happen to the UAL EWR buddy.... then he sure as heck put a lot of effort into asking me for a last minute buddy pass! Also....why would the union give two cents about a pilot that is no longer part of their group? He never complained anyway, was just a lot surprised. Ironically, apparently UAL was doing some kind of uniform change and about two weeks after quitting, he received a whole bevy of uniform pieces at his house. He mostly left because in his opinion UAL was a "hot mess" in EWR at least at that time in 2014. He was worried about the future at the time.
