Denver departures continue to climb and SkyWest is now the largest airline out of Denver based on number of departures. Base staffing has increased but the growth is also being flown by other bases.
As we move out Skywest is moving in. I heard 2 months ago from a Skywest management guy from Salt Lake or St George that Denver will become Skywest's largest base with this huge expansion. It looks like he was correct.
He also said they were going to take over the Compass flying on the West Coast. At the same time it sounded like they would be moving out of LGA, but I am not sure that I understood him on that point. This is all Delta flying of course.
