Its good. I respected he and the Comair group when they went through their strike and try to raise the bar for the industry. Sad that no one followed. The post strike contract there may indeed go down as the best contract ever to hit the regional industry.

However, I highly disagree with him and the MEC's stance regarding the hiring of furloughed pilots. They wanted any furloughed pilot who came over to CMR to give up their seniority number. Other airlines such as ASA and Pinnacle hired lots of furloughed guys during that time period with no requirement to resign from your previous carrier. He politicized a tragic event for thousands of guys. A loss for Comair would have been a preferential hiring system at Delta for their pilots. I'm sure a few guys would like that right now.

In short, he lost his way in my opinion. It is good the CMR pilot group gets a fresh start and great for the industry that someone who was in charge of an MEC and screw his fellow brothers is gone. Good riddance.
