That was sage advice. I have only known of two CMR pilots hired this year vs. around 50+ from ASA, etc. To date around 270 regional guys have hired so far. That means that less than 1% have been from CMR. I believe as well he threw them under the bus for his own political ambitions within ALPA national. Unfortunately, the needs of the many did not outweigh the means of the few. A seven year FO with DAL now earns more than the most senior CMR Captain. Second year pay at DAL is better than 10 year Captain pay with CMR. I dare say the preferential hiring ability at CMR for DAL would probably be a great thing had it happened. If hiring continues on its projections, DAL will have hired 1000 guys by next year. At their rate, less then 5 guys will be from CMR vs. a much larger figure had the pref hiring been in place.

CMR guys have a wealth of experience and passion. They were held hostage by JC and the senior guys who couldn't see past their own arrogance. Sad.
