Actually AA regional pilots are already American Airlines pilots. Calling them regional pilots is really a misnomer. Especially those aviators rated in the E170/190. AA should actually just get rid of the standard paychecks for them and house them in barracks until they flow.
Not gonna lie, barracks and a meal card would save alot of cash. Just gotta make sure there's a Class Six close by.
