The junior pilot that is currently on IAH 756 and got there via a vacancy bid, is about 1300 seniority numbers from the bottom of the list. Now there a couple of guys junior to that who were able to get to IAH on a base trade (not something to count on).

That same seniority pilot would be a very junior line holder on the Airbus or 737.

Now, movement in IAH has been very slow for the last couple of years (fuel price too low), so the movement picture in IAH has been pretty bleak. This Fall/Winter is supposed to be eye watering in the amount of bids/training that are coming, so hopefully that will create better movement all across the system, not just on the coasts.
