I have been through that part of the world several times and it gives me chills everytime I'm there, I swear it feels like "people" are watching...don't call me a crazy, I don't believe in that paranormal crap but go to a WWII cemetary or battlefield, allied or German anywhere in Europe and if you don't get chills and the hair on the back of your neck doesn't stand up, something is wrong with you...greatest generation for sure!

BTW- the article lists "several horse drawn wagons were shot up" (to paraphrase)...people don't realize how much of the German "Blitzkrieg" was horse drawn, even in 1944...wonder how PETA would respond to that today...50,000 killed overnight in fire-bombing of Cologne (or was it Dresden?) and they would ***** about the 20 horses killed by P-47's strafing...ok, back down off the soapbox.
