Yeah, because keeping your apps updated is working so well for everybody. Want out now? Become a check airman, or an asst chief pilot, or an safety volunteer. Do some charity work. Attend job fairs in person. Start networking your tail off and being the guy they see everywhere trying to get the job.

This is true, and maybe I’m a few shades jaded by now but I spend enough time away from my wife and kids. The fact that I have to donate more of my time off to a job fair is ludicrous. On top of all the volunteering and charity work you are supposed to be doing already.
I’m fully prepared to hear how that’s the way to get out and you’re not really trying etc. I’m just saying I don’t have enough off days to give anymore.
