People may be in your situation or similar, but it all comes down to your specific airline. Speaking for my airline - You get 30 days to renew your passport. Closely to your 30 days you get an email from admin asking you about the status of your passport. If you don’t have it within 30 days you’ll get call in to the chief’s office.
