Dogs are getting out of control at a lot of business places. You can't even go into Home Depot now without seeing multiple people who feel it's necessary to take their dog shopping. Pretty sad. No emotional support dogs should be on the plane at all. If someone needs emotional support they certainly should not be flying.
It has gotten ridiculous. I would be more accepting if ESA's were screened and trained like true service animals (which they should be IMHO). I am guilty of bringing one of my dogs into places like Home Depot,,, but we were training her and asked permission first. This was a dog that would heal off leash in a run, drop on command, and recall through a pack of dogs and people, completely ignoring them. She was a Pit mix BTW
