My coed/all-crew crashpad experiences included getting the door kicked in (literally) by police because a distraught FA was locked in the basement threatening suicide on social media.

A buddy recently bailed on a crashpad that catered to all airport employees... the fuel truck guy would come in late reeking of jet fuel, hang his fuel-soaked clothes by the bed and turn in. My buddy starting having headaches and other neurological symptoms from the fumes.

OTOH, once I opened the door to my semi-private room (shared by another guy who was rarely there) and walked in on two (female) FA's getting it on in

I would now only stay in a pilot-only pad, and would pay more for the privilege.
