100+ new airframes means a lot of growth and pilot movement. That is great news!
This ridiculous notion that the Max is going to be on sale because of recent events is unfounded. As of last month, Boeing has a backlog of 5900 aircraft, which relates to
7.3 years of orders. Want to take a guess what airframe makes up 80% of those 5900 planes, the 737 NG/Max makes up the 80%. They are not in any need to give this plane away and the public has pretty much moved on to trade wars, 2020 election, and the new season of Below Deck on Bravo.
