7.3 years of orders. Want to take a guess what airframe makes up 80% of those 5900 planes, the 737 NG/Max makes up the 80%. They are not in any need to give this plane away and the public has pretty much moved on to trade wars, 2020 election, and the new season of Below Deck on Bravo.
You’re correct that there won’t be any huge fire sale because of the 737 issues. The only reason Spirit may get a deal on 737’s is that Boeing wants a slice of the US ulcc market. Spirit, Frontier, and Allegiant are all Airbus.
