This "Envoy's contract with AAG that involves last pick of the scraps" is another fake news "fact" people repeat here. I can't help you if you believe that AAG just posts a bunch of flights available for grabs, and regionals pick them up in some preassigned order, like a pro sports draft.
I'm sure Vasu etc keep saying "oh crap, Skywest took that route, now we can only sell 70 seats on that route".
Is that why we got a good bunch of the super productive daytrip lines for June? Some of them from Mesa. I'm sure the senior guys who can hold them aren't complaining about 18-19 days off and 90+ hours of credit, and home every night.
They are also great picks off P2P (plenty of them available). Not bad to go to work for a turn and credit close to 7-8 hours.
And again you weren’t here when we had pages of 2day back to back and three days trips with 18 days off. It wasn’t just the super senior guys getting those trips in the summer it was all the time. RW and the union are in agreement that it is due to the flight file we get. So again you have no clue what is really going on here.
