At ALPA carriers, the MEC Chair is elected by the by the voting representatives. It’s usually always published somewhere what the count was.
At the National level, the Board of Directors, which is every “status” rep (voting reps) in ALPA, votes via rollcall, or how many pilots they each represent.
By their nature, the participation of the above is always close to 100%.
On the local level, each pilot in each council receives a breakdown of the vote & participation for their council reps. Participation varies, from 20-25% for an election with popular incumbents, to over 50% for a more contested election. Just depends.
