Not 100 percent true. It ultimately depends on what regional vs what 135 vs where you live etc.
That being said I would say any LCC+ is better than 135. Regionals can be the suck. And most of their pay is bonus, that could be gone at any time. Then you're back to making 30-40k. Add in a bad commute and some home based 135 look decent.
Each individual is different, but I will say the end game of major destroys the top earnings/retirement at every 135. Hands down.
