Joe your right it’s just the hard cruel parts of life. Don’t honor anyone who goes before us, no gifts, no nothing for the retirees, and nothing special just pull the plug.
The vacation pass issue is still the single biggest rub for most people because people perceive it as “cutting in line.” I just don’t agree with giving super seniority for boarding to someone because they’re retired. Again, I think it was BS to give them a LOWER boarding priority too because THAT diluted their years of service.
Retirees still get vacation passes that evens out the boarding priority when they use them.....I think.
