QOL you say - how about this. You could work less for the same money. For what you make working 72 hours a month as a widebody F/O, you would only have to work 58 (Narrowbody Capt) or 50 (Widebody Capt). It's not about chasing the money, it is about you could be home more for the same money (unless of course you are one of those that don't like home). If you live in domicile you could be home even more.


Disclaimer: This offer isn't valid if we are no longer overmanned (not happening soon with the age 75 thing) or you are one of those very senior F/O's that bid check airman all the time (I was never going to be senior enough in the right seat for that)
